What we collect

When you submit an RFQ we store the details you enter (contact details and rotor requirements), the time of submission, a salted one-way hash of your IP address used for abuse prevention, your browser’s user-agent string and an approximate country derived from the network.

If you attach drawings or CAD files to an RFQ, we store the files, their names and sizes, and the time of upload, linked to your RFQ reference.

The rotor lab reads 3D files inside your browser. Files opened in the lab are not uploaded or stored by us. An unsent RFQ draft is kept in your browser’s local storage until you send it or clear it; attached files are not kept in the draft.

RFQ files

Files attached to an RFQ are stored privately in Cloudflare R2 object storage. They are not public and have no public link. Access is limited to Rathlo staff handling your request. We share a file with a supplier only after you approve that supplier, and a mutual NDA is available before any exchange. Notification emails list file names only; files are not attached or linked in email.

Do not attach ITAR, EAR-controlled or otherwise export-controlled technical data. You confirm this before files upload.

How we use it

To respond to your request, prepare a quotation and keep records of our correspondence. We do not sell personal information and do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Service providers

The site and RFQ file storage run on Cloudflare. RFQ notifications may be delivered by an email service provider. If enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile process limited technical data to measure traffic and prevent abuse, without cookies used for advertising.

Retention and your choices
